Maddy LeBrun
-- Facilities Supervisor & Trainer Apprentice
Maddy started her journey in the dog world back in 2018 and she quickly fell in love with it. It's really important to her to have a special bond with each and every dog and for them to know they're apart of the family. She really enjoys learning about all things dog and hopes to become a trainer one day. Maddy will be working with Jacki and the team on learning more about dog behaviours, communication and body language. Over the short time she's been here, she has worked herself up to be the daycare supervisor and is slowly getting into training. Maddy shares her life with her Boston Terrier Joe. Joe is blind and will also be joining us to work on confidence and impulse control in group settings.
Jacki Ditchburn-Currie - NFPA 1001
-- Facility Manager & Head Trainer
Jacki was raised a trainer by her mother Kathy starting at a very young age, working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Jacki then went to college and learned to be a firefighter. She also decided to venture into the business world, opening and running many different restaurants over 10 years. During this time Jacki was always involved in the dog rescue, training and rehabilitation as a passion, and continued to take courses and seminars to further her K9 education. In 2018 Jacki decided to return to the dog world. Using her business background, management skills, disciplined and hardworking nature, and dog knowledge, she, with Kathy, opened TopDog's Mutt-e-Ssori as a premiere enrichment daycare and training facility. Shortly after, she gave birth to her son Kelly!
Jacki also shares her life with her Irish wolfhound Freyja and Labrador Cybele.
Cas McVean
-- Head Administrative Officer & Daycare Tech Apprentice
Cas started her journey in the cat world 5 years ago and has done amazing work in the rescue, care and rehabilitation of cats. She then jumped into the dog world in July 2021 and has found a passion here as well. Cas' main focus is to help take some admin off Jacki's plate - she will be the one behind the computer who does all of the nitty, gritty admin work. Cas shares her life with her family dog Koda - a Bernese Mountain Dog. Koda will be helping Cas gain more confidence in dog training and management of behaviours under the guidance of Jacki and the team.
Lisa Graham-Nichols

Lisa has always had a love for animals, and quite enjoys the daycare setting. Lisa is currently in a training course and with the fine tuning skills of Jacki and Kathy she's well on her way to becoming a wonderful trainer. Lisa loves hanging out with the dogs and learning anything she can. Despite Lisa only working a few hours a week with us, she has certainly made an impact. Lisa shares her life with her standard poodle, Wilson.
Alley Lee
-- Special Appearances!
Alley moved on to a wonderful opportunity closer to home with the SPCA, and she is loving it! But she just can't quite stay away. Popping in from time to time to help out, and hang out - it's always a joy to have Alley hangin' out and being silly with our pack!
